Groovy Lane Return Policy

14-day right of return


In our online store, we comply with the 14-day right of return stipulated in the Consumer Protection Act for consumer customers.

The return notification must be made in writing within 14 days of receiving the product. The return notification must be made by email at info@groovylane.store OR the customer also has the option to make a return notification directly on the online store website. The customer will receive a confirmation of the return request to their email, and later a notification of the return acceptance, which indicates the return address and other information required for the return. You can find more detailed return instructions further down in this article.

The return notification can be made in the “Cancel order / Make a return” section at the bottom of the online store.


Cancelling an order


The customer has the option to cancel their order as long as the order has not been fulfilled. The cancellation option is valid for a maximum of 24 hours, if the order has not been marked as fulfilled before then.

NOTE! We do not offer free returns for our products. The customer is always responsible for the shipping costs of the products they return. (This is the main reason why we can offer products at these prices without adding extra to our prices for “fun shopping”, and we also do not support driving goods back and forth across Europe in trucks for ecological reasons, so please read the product information carefully before ordering the product).

NOTE! Some products cannot be returned by regular mail due to their size, weight or other characteristics, and require separate handling or special transport, the price of which is significantly higher than regular mail. The customer is always responsible for the shipping costs of the products they return themselves, including for these products.

For example, the return of almost all furniture and most larger interior design products requires special packaging, so the return shipping costs to mainland Finland almost systematically exceed 200 euros / product. The shipping costs for returning sofas and beds are over 350 euros / product to mainland Finland, depending on the country of shipment.

NOTE! We do not collect shipments intended for payment by post or in any other way. The customer is always responsible for the shipping costs of the products they return themselves.


Returnable Products


The 14-day return policy applies only to saleable products. Products and product packaging must be in their original condition and all accessories, devices and other attachments that came with the product must be included in order for you to receive a refund for the product return in accordance with the terms and conditions.


Customer returns and refunds take approximately 7-14 business days to process from the time the returned product arrives at our store. This time is comprised of the processing time for the product, the processing time required by the payment service provider, and the time required for accounting procedures.


How do I make a customer return?


* If the product is found to be defective or damaged due to a structural defect or manufacturing error, please contact our customer service by email at info@groovylane.store (24/7) OR by phone at 050 369 6690 (Mon/Wed/Fri 5:00 PM-8:00 PM) and we will provide instructions on how to proceed. In this case, do not return the product without contacting us.

Return instructions in brief


1. Notify us of the customer return via the “Cancel order / Make a return” menu at the bottom of the online store, and you will receive a confirmation of the notification and a little later a notification of the return acceptance with return instructions OR contact us directly by email at info@groovylane.store and we will send you return instructions directly.


2. Pack the product in a suitable size package carefully and in such a way that the product is not damaged in transit. Note! Please do not make any markings on the original product packaging. Do not send the product without protective packaging. You are responsible for the shipment and its condition until it has reached us.


3. Check that each part of the product / package is packaged correctly and that all tickets, labels and instructions, etc. that were delivered to you with the product are included.


4. Slip a free-form message inside the package stating your name, address, email address and phone number (preferably also the reason for the return, so that we can improve our service) and close the package.


5. Make sure that there are no old address labels visible on the package.


6. Send the package to us via the shipping company of your choice and send us the tracking number you received by email to info@groovylane.com so that we can claim the package as soon as possible and handle the matter as smoothly as possible.


NOTE! Remember to keep the Shipping Receipt and Tracking Number for the return until the return has been processed and the refund appears on your account. Without a receipt or tracking number for the return, we cannot take responsibility for the possible loss of the return shipment.


Refund


We will issue a refund/credit once we have received and processed your return (processing time 7-14 days). The refund will be made by the payment service provider to the payment method you used when ordering.
