Groovy Lane Return Policy

14 Day Right of Return
We comply with the 14 day right of return required by the Finnish Consumer Protection Act for consumer customers.
A return notification must be submitted in writing within 14 days of receiving the product. Return notifications must be sent by email to info@groovylane.store.
IMPORTANT: We do not offer free returns. The Customer is always responsible for the shipping costs of returned products. (This is the main reason we can offer our products at these prices without adding extra costs caused by “impulse shopping.” For ecological reasons, we also do not support unnecessary transportation of goods back and forth across Europe. Please review product information carefully before placing an order.)
IMPORTANT: Some products cannot be returned as standard postal parcels due to their size, weight, or other characteristics. These items require special handling or special freight services, which are significantly more expensive than regular parcel shipping. The Customer is always responsible for the return shipping costs of such items.
For example, returning almost all furniture and most larger interior design products requires special packaging, meaning that the return shipping costs to mainland Finland almost systematically exceed 200 euros/product. The shipping costs for returning sofas and beds are over 350 euros to mainland Finland, depending on the country of shipment.
Return shipping costs from other EU countries may exceed the above mentioned €200 / €350 shipping cost.
IMPORTANT: We do not accept cash on delivery returns or any shipments intended to be paid by the recipient. The Customer is always responsible for the shipping costs of returned items.
Products Eligible for Return
The 14 day right of return applies only to products that are in resellable condition.
Products and product packaging must be in original condition.
All accessories, attachments, manuals, and other included items must be returned.
Failure to include all components may reduce or void the refund.
Processing customer returns and issuing refunds takes approximately 7–14 business days from the time the returned product arrives at our facility. This timeframe includes product inspection, payment service provider processing, and accounting procedures.
How to Make a Return
Whether your return concerns a product returned within 14 days, a transport damaged item, a product defect, or a warranty issue, please follow these steps:
Contact our customer service first at info@groovylane.store (available 24/7) and explain the issue.
Wait for our response and follow the instructions provided.
IMPORTANT: Do not return any product without contacting us first.
Return Instructions (Summary)
1. Include a note inside the package
Write clearly by hand:
Your name, email address, and phone number
The product(s) being returned and the order number
The reason for the return (helps us improve our service)
IMPORTANT: We do not need your bank account or card details. All refunds are processed through the payment service provider. We do not have access to your payment information.
2. Pack the product carefully
Use a suitable box and protective packaging.
Do not write on the original product packaging.
Do not send the product without protective packaging. You are responsible for the condition of the shipment until it reaches us.
3. Ensure all parts are included
All accessories, manuals, labels, and other items originally delivered with the product must be returned.
4. Place your note inside the package
(See step 1.)
5. Remove old shipping labels
Make sure no previous address labels are visible.
6. Ship the package
Send the return using the carrier of your choice to the address in Finland we provide by email.
7. Send us the tracking code
Email the shipment tracking number to info@groovylane.store immediately after sending the package.
IMPORTANT: Keep your receipt and tracking number until the return has been processed and the refund appears in your account. Without a tracking number, we cannot take responsibility for lost return shipments.
Refunds
We issue refunds once the returned product has been received and processed (processing time 7–14 days). Refunds are issued by the payment service provider (Paytrail Oyj / STRIPE) using the same payment method you used when placing the order.
