Oy Air United International Ltd is committed to maintaining transparency when using artificial intelligence in its online stores (Groovy Lane / R.A.T. GEAR), as well as on its other websites (Oy Air United International Ltd's official website).
In this statement, we explain how we use artificial intelligence, how our partners use artificial intelligence for our customers, and how we ensure that we comply with the EU Artificial Intelligence Regulation in our operations.
Oy Air United International Ltd uses / does not use artificial intelligence for the purposes mentioned below:
Customer data management / We do not use artificial intelligence to process customer data. We have not installed any separate AI-based plugins on our online stores or websites, and the online store platforms and website providers we use do not use artificial intelligence by default when providing these services.
Payment information management / We do not process customer payment information in any way, so we do not use artificial intelligence to process customer payment information.
Shopify e-commerce platform partner / Shopify does not use AI to process the personal data of online store customers in its core functions, unless the online store owner installs AI-enabled plugins in their online store. We have not installed these plugins in our online store. Shopify's response 22.11.2025: “In Shopify's core services — such as processing orders, managing customer records, and running your store — AI is not used to handle your customers' personal data. Your customers' data is processed only as necessary to provide these essential services securely and efficiently, without AI involvement for those core functions.”
Shopify payments payment service provider partner / Shopify payments does not use artificial intelligence to process the personal data of online store customers in its core functions unless the online store owner installs plugins that use artificial intelligence in their online store. We have not installed these plugins in our online store. Shopify's response 22.11.2025: ”Shopify Payments, as an online payment system, does not use artificial intelligence to process your customers' personal data by default. The processing of customer data within Shopify Payments is focused on securely handling payment transactions, fraud detection, and compliance with financial regulations using established security and encryption methods, not AI-driven data processing.”
Paytrail payment service provider partner / Paytrail does not use artificial intelligence when processing customer data in connection with payments. Paytrail's response on November 28, 2025: "We do not use artificial intelligence when processing customer data in connection with payments."
Product texts published on the websites / We do not use artificial intelligence to produce Finnish product texts or our other texts at all. We use artificial intelligence to translate product texts into English and Swedish, and we also check the translated text before publication so that the translated text corresponds as closely as possible to the text we produced ourselves.
Images published on the sites / Some images on the sites are generated or edited using artificial intelligence. The actual product sales images are not generated or edited using artificial intelligence. We only use images generated using artificial intelligence to illustrate, for example, the Contact and Terms of Use pages or our homepage to improve the visual appearance.
Commercials published on the websites / We use artificial intelligence through various service providers to create the music for commercials. We either create the texts for the commercials entirely ourselves or modify the text produced by artificial intelligence according to our needs.
Ensuring compliance with EU AI regulations*
- To ensure the originality of the images used on our websites, we use reverse image searches to ensure that the image in question has not already been published.
- To ensure the originality of the music used on our sites, we use music recognition software to ensure that we are not publishing music that has already been published by anyone else.
- To ensure the originality of the lyrics published on our website, we use various text search engines, for lyrics that are not entirely our own, to ensure that we do not publish lyrics that have already been published by anyone else.
- We comply with the terms of use of service providers regarding the publication of produced materials.
* And since it is almost never possible to rule out the possibility of an error in the published material using the methods mentioned above, we ask that you contact us immediately if an error is detected in the produced material.
Summary
On the sites we own, our customers do not currently interact with artificial intelligence in any way, and neither we nor our partners process the customer's personal information with artificial intelligence in any way.
Active Artificial Intelligence is currently not, to our knowledge or that of our partners, connected in any way to the operations of our online stores or websites.
The only materials we publish that are produced with artificial intelligence are passive, meaning that the artificial intelligence does not directly interact with the user of our website (images, music, videos).
Statement on artificial intelligence legislation
Because legislation regarding the use of artificial intelligence is still in a very early stage and changes to laws and regulations may occur very quickly, we are actively monitoring these changes.
If there are any changes to the previous laws and regulations regarding artificial intelligence in the future, we will update our operating procedures and our Artificial Intelligence Statement accordingly without delay.
